Original frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Nicely figured Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Neck: Chunky maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Overall the guitar has an authentic, vintage look with a beautiful patina. The body binding shows lots of cracks with some pieces missing, along with the heel cap. The natural finish aged into a mellow golden color & the gold hardware has tarnished. There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. Professionally set up by Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds fantastic!Ĭosmetic Condition: Solid construction & well-built, but some of the cosmetic features have deteriorated over the years, namely the body binding & headstock overlay. ![]() All original with dynamite sounding De Armond single coils & eye-catching, gold sparkle accoutrements. ![]() This one really shows its age, but still looks gorgeous, especially in that natural finish with some nice flame figuring in the body. ![]() What makes this guitar special: Super rare hollow body made in New York sometime in the late '50s. ![]()
